Production Lead- Food Manufacturing (Direct Hire)

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Lead to oversee food manufacturing operations in a fast-paced food processing plant. In this role, you will lead production teams to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality food production processes. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, uphold food safety standards, and maintain compliance with industry regulations. Duties

• Supervise daily food production activities, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery operates smoothly and perform basic mechanical troubleshooting when necessary
• Enforce strict compliance with FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and sanitation protocols
• Oversee packaging processes to guarantee proper labeling, sealing, and product integrity
• Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production line to identify and resolve issues promptly
• Train and mentor team members on food safety practices, equipment operation, and safety procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of production records, sanitation logs, and safety reports
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Experience

• Proven experience in food manufacturing or processing plant environments with a strong understanding of food safety standards
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP guidelines, and sanitation procedures in a food industry setting
• Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting machinery issues
• Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment preferred
• Basic math skills for inventory management, measurements, and quality control calculations
• Familiarity with packaging processes within a food processing plant is a plus
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and promote a culture of safety and quality
