Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Duties

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Assist with triage and prioritize patient care based on urgency.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement discharge plans.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health management.
• Conduct venipuncture for blood draws and other necessary procedures.
• Support patients with activities of daily living, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills.

Experience

• Current LVN license in good standing.
• Previous experience in assisted living or trauma center settings is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as needed.
