HVAC Technician

Dedicated is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our teamin West Valley City, Utah. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC/R systems, ensuring the efficient operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role will be preformed inside a new build warehouse.

Job Details

  • 6 month project

Duties

  • Conduct routine testing on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Diagnose and repair issues related to air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems.
  • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot equipment effectively.
  • Perform field service tasks including installation, repair, and replacement of HVAC/R components.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments.

Experience

  • Proven experience in property maintenance with a focus on HVAC systems.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with refrigerants and air conditioning units.
  • Familiarity with HVAC/R schematics and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Previous field service experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Certification in HVAC or related fields is a plus but not required.
