Electrician

Dedicated Staffing is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in the Salt Lake City area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in New Build warehouses. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Electrician will ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and prioritize safety while delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to NEC standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize power tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters for testing electrical systems.
• Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
• Perform frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Skills

• Proficiency in using power tools and electrical testing equipment (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter).
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of frame carpentry techniques is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials.
